Long-lasting happiness can't be found in a viral video. But it can be found in Happy Tea.
Traditionally my ingredients have been used to assist with:
Black Tea, Mei Gui Hua (Rose), Gou Qi (goji), Ju Hua (chrysanthemum), Shan Zha (Hawthorn Fruit), Ning Meng (lemon).
Happy Tea explained by TCM Dr. Nat Kringoudis;
Barbary Wolfberry Fruit or Go Qi Zi as it is known in China, is a very effective little berry that helps to cleanse and tone the blood. For this reason it helps to awaken the body and the senses leaving you feeling fabulous. It also helps that it’s a little package full of antioxidants – the very things that help to clean up the damage that stress leaves behind.
Happy Tea also contains another favourite Chinese fruit of mine – Shan Zha or Hawthorn Fruit. These little delicious apple-like fruits are great for digestion. They help to move any stagnated or accumulated food through the digestive tract and have a very calming effect on the gut in general. Shan Zha can be used to calm down a sensitive stomach or and help with digestive issues. It’s very gentle, safe and tastes delicious!
While both Chrysanthemum and Rose Flower both have an extremely calming effect on the body.
Anyone who needs a little boost.
It is safe to consume Happy Tea whilst pregnant and breastfeeding, however we don't always recommend this, purely because we believe in leaving health in the hands of nature at this special point in time.
For the young or elderly or those recovering from severe illness, whilst it isn't contraindicated, it's important to consult your healthcare professional before cleansing. If you're under the age of 15 we recommend seeking parental permission.
Happy Tea is designed to be consumed consecutively over 20 days (2 x a day), though, can also be consumed as needed. Brew for 5-7 minutes at a time. Drink 30 minutes before or after meals.
Hot tip: Feel free to add a squeeze of lemon or dash of honey.
